When to shop for new furnishings
The most predominant time to shop for new furnishings is in the fall. People want new furniture for the Holidays. If you are one of these people, take into account that ordering new and/or custom furniture can take between 6-8 weeks for delivery time. Leading up to the Holidays - this can take even longer. That being the case, new furniture needs to be ordered in September to arrive by Thanksgiving. Don't wait until the last minute - you may be disappointed if your new furnishings do not arrive as expected.
